Exams and Testing Policies
School district policy states that semester examinations for semester and year long courses shall be administered for all courses. All students are required to take the exams except for a special education student whose IEP specifically excludes them, and for seniors who may exempt the end of the year examinations if they have a grade of “A” in the course for the year. The final grade for a two-semester course will be determined by averaging both semesters’ grades. Nine-week exams will be given at the end of the first and third nine-week grading period.
